(1) Direct disposal of purified wastewater
Direct disposal is where purified wastewater is disposed of as run-off, which is the case when water is able to flow away into a stream or river via a natural gradient or artificial elevation. Direct disposal requires an official water permit. Epuramat will support customers in a consultative capacity when the application is made, and will develop efficient water treatment solutions to meet the relevant local regulations in force.

(2) Indirect disposal
Indirect disposal is where treated or untreated wastewater is fed into the local community treatment plant. Where the composition of industrial wastewater does not comply with the minimum requirements for disposal into the public drainage system, it has to go through a pretreatment process. Epuramat develops individual treatment systems for industries subject to the relevant conditions, ensuring efficient wastewater disposal.

(3) Recycling process water
Industries with a requirement for high volumes of water e.g. as a coolant are faced with high costs for fresh water and wastewater disposal on a daily basis. Recycling involves using process water several times. Epuramat develops treatment plants for industries to enable them to send process water round in a continuous cycle, and the savings achieved appear immediately on the bottom line.
