As a result from urban development, rising population figures pose new challenges for water supply and treatment. Accordingly, higher volumes of wastewater result in overloaded wastewater treatment plants. But often a plant expansion is not possible because of a lack of additional available space for construction. By means of the ExSep^® technology, the capacity of existing plants can be increased by 30-40% without the need of additional space.
