Traditional wastewater treatment plants use open sedimentation tanks. Their efficiency is limited, they take a lot of space and cause odour disturbances.
Epuramat developed a primary treatment technology that makes wastewater treatment much easier and less expensive at a small scale. This technology substitutes conventional sedimentation tanks.
The proprietary device ExSep® uses a combination of gravity and fluid dynamics to separate solids from liquids and relieves subsequent treatment steps. Based on the ExSep® technology, several applications have been developed by Epuramat.
