Ehekirchen, Germany, 12 May 2014 – Epuramat, Luxembourgish company specialized in compact and mobile solutions for wastewater treatment, recently implemented a demonstration site in Germany, which is intended for presentation of products under real conditions.
At the end of 2013, Epuramat carried out the installation of a primary treatment unit on the Ehekirchen municipal wastewater treatment plant in Germany, in the framework of an expansion project. The efficiency of the system as well as the interest shown by local municipalities and organizations persuaded the company to implement there a complete demonstration site, representative of all technical solutions provided by Epuramat in the field of wastewater treatment.
This demonstration site consists of two different applications. The first one is a pre-treatment system with two ExSep® (innovative patented technology for solid-liquid separation) combined with a sludge dewatering unit, allowing primary treatment of wastewater up to 35 m³ per hour, and an advanced biological treatment by STM-AeratorTM for 3 m³ per hour. The second application is the so-called Box4Water, a complete wastewater treatment system, fully integrated in a standard 20’ shipping container, including a buffer tank, a primary treatment unit (ExSep®), a biological treatment (Membrane-Bio-Reactor), as well as a sludge dewatering system.
Thanks to their position on an existing wastewater treatment plant, all these systems can be operated under real working conditions. This allows visitors to benefit from an interactive explanation of the functioning, as well as to assess the design and the performance of these products.
If interested, Epuramat invite you to send your request to email@example.com, and would be delighted to welcome you at its demonstration site.
Founded in 2005 in Luxembourg, Epuramat S.A. provides compact, energy-efficient and mainly chemicals-free water and wastewater treatment solutions. Its patented ExSep® (Extreme-Separator) pre-treatment solution uses fluid dynamics, to separate solid matter from liquid, enabling wastewater to be more easily and more efficiently processed or recycled. Epuramat systems can be used in a variety of municipal and industrial applications, including treating sewage from remote communities for direct discharge into sensitive aquifers, separating oil from water, treating industrial water for re-use, and treating digestate resulting from biogas plants. The Epuramat plants are currently in operation in Europe, USA and Canada.
