Dr. Silvano Sommer has more than 17 years of proven executive management experience in international water processing business and project management.  As top manager he was involved into the business development of a global major in water business being part of an industry group with more than 50,000 employees today. He played also a leading role in setting up and developing subsidiaries in more than 19 European countries being today market leaders in their businesses. Dr. Silvano Sommer joined Epuramat in 2013 as CEO in order to enable market expansion and product development as well as to establish Epuramat as global player in its niche. Dr. Sommer holds a diploma and PHD in Physical Chemistry from University of Düsseldorf where he managed several environmental research projects.

Susanne Kimmich has a Degree in Civil Engineering. She studied at the Technical University in Darmstadt / Germany and majored in Water, Wastewater and Waste Management; Traffic Engineering, Engineering Geology and Soil Mechanics. Susanne has more than 20 years of professional experience in the international water, wastewater and biogas business. Susanne has a proven track record as project and process engineer in engineering offices, in research & development institutes and in governmental institutes supporting sustainable wastewater solutions for development countries. Susanne has also been working as an independent consultant for various wastewater and biogas projects and as Head of Engineering and Technology for leading international wastewater and biogas plant manufacturers. After already two and a half years with Epuramat as Head of Engineering between 2009 till 2012, Susanne is well introduced into the Epuramat business and takes over the role as Technical Director.
