Our team.

The Epuramat team is presently made up of fifteen employees, who are mainly active on the technology side.

Dirk Kockler (Project Manager)
Dirk Kockler was the first person to be taken on by Epuramat. He is the Project Manager responsible for the construction and commissioning of Epuramat treatment plants. Dirk has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He majored in Production Technology at the Saarland College of Technology and Management.
As part of his foundation studies, he worked for the steel company Dillinger Hütte, where he was able to pursue the theoretical expertise acquired through learning in practical depth while training as an industrial mechanic at the same time. As part of his major studies, Dirk attended a trainee program at Dillinger Hütte and wrote his thesis on the influence of selected process parameters on the core strength of standardized construction steel. On completing his studies, he worked as a plant engineer in the business-related blast furnace sector of Dillinger Hütte.
Dirk has worked for Epuramat since 2007. He manages the entire technical team, and is also responsible for all project development. To date, he has planned and implemented all Epuramat projects in Europe and the USA with great success.

Susanne Kimmich (Process Engineer)
Susanne Kimmich has a Degree in Construction Engineering. She majored in Sanitary Environmental Engineering at the Darmstadt University of Technology. She then worked for six years for Unger Consultant Engineers in Darmstadt on plant construction for water and wastewater treatment in Planning, Tendering and Construction. After that, Susanne spent four years in associated research on the subject of water and wastewater treatment, specializing in biomass conversion into energy and resource management at the University Kassel. She then worked for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für technische Zusammenarbeit GmbH (gtz) on the “ecosan” (ecologically and economically sustainable wastewater management and sanitation systems) project. Here, she focused on the development of alternative sanitation systems in terms of mass-throughput closed-loop recycling management, plus administrative and organizational management. At Epuramat, Susanne works as a process engineer in plant construction for industrial and local community wastewater treatment.
