Luxemburg, 13 January 2012 – Epuramat, the specialist for energy-efficient water and wastewater treatment systems received the order to expand an industrial wastewater treatment plant in Austria. Epuramat’s ExSep®-technology will be integrated into the existing wastewater treatment plant of a dairy and meat processing company. Thus, the plant capacity will be increased according to the current load. The project realization is foreseen for spring 2012.
“After trial operation with various technologies and an extensive market research, we decided for the Epuramat-technology as it showed the best performance and can be easily integrated into the existing plant”, said Guenther Schorrer, CEO of the plant contractor WSA – Waste Service GmbH (WSA). As private waste management company, WSA is particularly interested in a cost effective and fast implementable wastewater treatment solution as the company realizes its revenues based on each cubic meter of treated effluent.
Epuramat’s patented ExSep® technology separates solids from wastewater with an efficiency of up to 99.9% in a very small space without using any chemicals or energy. Epuramat developed a bespoke solution for WSA comprising of two ExSep 3.000, a complete sludge dewatering system and an automatic control system. The plant is designed for a daily through-flow of an average of 1,800 cubic meters and will be installed within the area of the existing wastewater treatment plant.
Construction and commissioning of the ExSep®-installation is planned for spring 2012. According to Epuramat’s Sales and Marketing Director Dirk Martin, further orders from the private waste management sector in the short to medium term are realistic. “Epuramat developed strong sales pipeline for 2012. With this initial order from the private waste management sector, the ExSep® has the opportunity to prove itself and to convince other entrepreneurs within this industry sector. Here, the decision-making processes are mostly short. Therefore, we are looking forward to 2012 with strong confidence.” said Martin.
