Epuramat treatment systems save our customers money. By reprocessing and the re-use of process water, industrial companies can save costs for fresh water and wastewater fees. The purchase of an in-house treatment system is particularly useful for industries that consume considerable amounts of fresh water. Treatment systems from Epuramat are extremely efficient. The key component of each Epuramat treatment system is the Extreme-Separator “ExSep®” (pat.pend.). It is a highly-efficient purification device placed right at the beginning of the treatment system, which mechanically separates solid matters almost completely form different types of wastewater.

Simple treatment solutions for industry

Epuramat's treatment system with ExSep® technology is particularly well suited for industrial applications with extensive water requirements, such as cleaning or process water. Costs associated with fresh water and the disposal of wastewater can lead to significant expenses. Epuramat offers customized solutions for wastewater treatment. The simple and efficient Epuramat treatment systems can pay for themselves very quickly, as shown in the example below. A company in the recycling industry spends approx. EUR 21,000 per month for fresh water. Epuramat offers the company a highly-efficient treatment system for water re-use, whereby fresh water costs can be reduced by up to two thirds, to EUR 7,000 per month. A lease-to-own agreement consists of monthly payments of EUR 5,800 over five years. After that period, ownership of the facility is transferred to the business. As early as the first month after starting up the Epuramat system, the company can save up to EUR 8,200 in monthly costs for fresh water, resulting in monthly costs of only EUR 12,800, as compared to the previous EUR 21,000. This represents an immediate cost saving of 40%. Following the end of the first five years, the leasing costs will also disappear and the cost savings will increase accordingly.

Efficient water treatment systems for communities

Besides industrial applications, Epuramat also offers municipal treatment systems for communities with populations ranging from 200 to 500,000. Epuramat replaces the huge and cost intensive sedimentation basins used at traditional municipal wastewater treatment plants with its Extreme-Separator “ExSep®” (pat.pend.). This unit is placed at the beginning of the treatment process. Thanks to its considerable performance, it is able to relieve subsequent purification steps, resulting in lower investment and operating costs as compared to conventional solutions. An Epuramat wastewater treatment plant requires up to 90% less space (see illustration below). Due to its lower space requirements and modular structure, the time required to manufacture and install an Epuramat plant can generally be measured in months rather than years. This reduces the time required for plant design and accelerates the entire project realisation process. Besides designing new treatment plants, Epuramat also focuses on retrofitting and upgrading existing plants. Using the modular ExSep technology, it is possible to increase the performance of an overstrained wastewater treatment plant as required.

Box4Water for simple treatment solutions

Box4Water is an engineering feat in the smallest of spaces. It is a complete water treatment system in one single container, resulting in enormous space reductions as compared to conventional treatment systems. This is only made possible with ExSep®, a pre-treatment module developed by Epuramat, which features extremely high efficiency for solid/liquid separation processes. The high-performance pre-treatment process using the ExSep immensely simplifies and relieves the cleaning processes of subsequent treatment stages. This results in a compact, simple and at the same time highly efficient treatment plant which is characterized by low maintenance requirements and is easy to operate.
